ALTENEW NOVEMBER 2019 STAMP/DIE/STENCIL RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

You guys! The Altenew team has done it again! The November release is full of amazing designs, and I have to say that I have lots of new favorites here! :) From beautiful flowers, Christmas trees to awesome stand-alone dies, this release is perfect in every sense. In addition to all that, Altenew is also introducing the brand-new Stamp Cleaner that is made for both clear and rubber stamps and will work with water-based or permanent inks.

"Hello, it's me" - Scrapbook Layout

For this layout, I used the Classic Beauty Stamp Set as well as the coordinating die set to create like a “garden” around my photo. To complete this idea, I cut out some butterflies from the Mix & Match Mariposa Die onto pink cardstock and vellum paper and added heat emboss in gold to add some shining. For the title, I used the Handwritten Hello Die, but instead of cutting out the word, I used it as a template so I could hand stitch the word.

For the roses, I used the Red Cosmos mini ink cube set and for the leaves, Green Fields mini ink cube set which happens to be one of my favorite greens.

"Craftiness is happiness" - Card

As soon as I saw the Poppy Garden Stamp Set, I knew that I have to have it! I just love the beautiful hand-drawn flowers and leaves that are perfect for coloring and embossing techniques, which pretty much what I did for this card.

I stamped and heat embossed some of the flowers and leaves onto watercolor paper and colored them with the new Liquid Watercolors (also known as Watercolor Brush Markers Refills) from Altenew. For the background, I used the Graph Die Cut Tape as a stencil and inked through with light orange ink, and for the sentiment, I used “Craftiness is Happiness” from the Crafty Greetings Stamp Set, which by the way, I think every crafter should have.

"Thanks for always being here" - Card

For my last card, I used the Poppy Garden Stamp Set again and colored the flowers in the same way I did in my previous Card. For the background, I splattered some Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray, and for the sentiment, I cut out the word “Thanks” from the Fancy Thanks Die and paired with “for always being here” from the BAF Fuchsia Stamp Set.
