DOODLEBUG DESIGN: I'M ON THE DOODLEBUG TEAM! + GOOD TIMES LAYOUT

Hello Friends! This is Maryám and I have a very exciting announcement for today- I'm on the Doodlebug Design Team! I still can't believe that I got asked to join this amazing company full of awesome people and that makes the cutest and sweetest products in the market. Thank you so much for inviting me, it is such a great honor and I'm so excited to be working alongside many talented people!

I was so excited to receive my first design team box and couldn't wait to start working with the brand new Candy Carnival collection. One of my favorite papers from this collection is Candy Carnival- yes, just like the name of the collection- because I am a big fan of colors and I also love tickets and that’s why as soon as I saw it I knew that I wanted to create a project featuring all the colorful tickets. 

The first thing I did was to fussy cut some of the tickets, adhere them to white cardstock and then punched some holes around each of them and added hand stitching using a matching color of embroidery thread. After I finished that part, I went ahead and pulled out some of the odds&endsTM pieces and choose some stars that coordinated with the tickets and adhered them to the page. 

The next part of the process was adding all the embellishments! I always have so much fun in this part, and this time was no exception, but I have to say that I had a very hard time choosing embellishments because they were all so cute and I wanted to use one of everything. In the end, I decided to use some of shape sprinklesTM from the Candy Carnival Collection and adhered a few of them here and there. I also added a few doddle-popsTM animals and some gold embossed hearts from the Trick or Treat Doodle StampsTM. 

And last, but not least, I put my photo on the right side of the page, added the title using the Teensy Type Beetle Black Cardstock Stickers and my journaling.
