Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew October 2019 Stencil/Washi Tape/Die Cut Tape Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from Mindy Eggen, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Lilith Eeckels. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!
This new release is filled with awesome designs and products and I was lucky enough to get some of them to work with. I'm also really excited about the new product category that Altenew is releasing today- Die Cut Tapes! Check out my projects below to see how I used them. And click here to see the entire release.
Love Summer - Layout
For this layout, I used the Calming Bouquet Washi Tape to create a floral wreath on the page. To do this, I adhered the washi tape on to white cardstock and then fussy cut around the flower clusters and added them to the background. After that, I added machine stitching around the wreath just to add some more texture. In addition to that, I used the Golden Dots Calming adhered to a paper, and I used it to frame my photo.
Happiness - Traveler's Notebook
For this project, I used two of the brand new Die Cut Tapes, Vibrant Spray Die Cut Tape and Graph Die Cut Tape. These are really fun to use and also you can do lots of techniques with them like I did with the Graph Die Cut Tape (I used it as a stencil). I also created a tag using the Deco Lines Washi Tape and put it behind my photo.
Beautiful Day - Card
And last, but not least, I created this one layered card only using one stencil, Rose Bouquet Stencil, and some inks. I love this new stencil because you can create so many awesome color combinations of flowers just by masking some of its parts.
