BELLA BLVD: MAY MOOD BOARD INSPIRED LAYOUT

Hey, Crafty Friends! This is Maryám and I'm so excited to be back here today with a new project inspired by the sweet Bella BLVD May Mood Board.

First of all, let's start by taking a look at this month's mood board.
Once I saw the mood board I was immediately inspired by it. The colors, the textures, and shapes caught my attention and inspired the entire theme of my layout.

To create my layout, I started out by opening 294889 Flower Jar Cut File on the Silhouette software and then ungroup all the elements of the jar. I separated all the pieces and cut them from different pattern papers. Once the machine finished doing its job, it was my turn to assemble all the pieces. For the flowers, I used foam dots to adhere them to the page and I added enamel dots in the center of each one them. For the jar, I used foam dots too and also added hand stitching around it with coordinating embroidery thread.

Continuing with the process, I added a piece of Talk to the Head Pattern Paper from the Sweet & Spooky- which surprisingly coordinated perfectly with the rest of the elements- on the left side of my page to balance out the design a little bit. This was inspired by the image of the black and white stripes at the bottom right corner of the mood board.

To embellish my page a little bit more, I added some words die-cuts from the Ephemera Words Set and also some epoxy hearts, both from the Squeeze the Day Collection.

For the title, I used the word "You" from the Squeeze the Day collection Ephemera Words Set and added a"xoxo" tab as an extra.

Here is a look at the completed layout!

That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed this post and inspired you to create something new. If you have any questions just leave a comment below, and I’ll be happy to help you.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
