Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the 2nd Altenew + The Daily Marker Color Therapy Blog Hop. If you are coming from the lovely Amy Tan, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Lisa Spangler. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!
I'm especially excited about today's hop because Altenew is collaborating with the amazing Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker to inspire crafters to find joy through coloring. Kathy is celebrating her 16th 30 Day Coloring Challenge until 5/7/2020. Please encourage your followers/blog visitors to participate in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by coloring something and share it on social media using the hashtag #TheDailyMarker30Day. We hope they find “Me Time” and enjoy the benefits that coloring will give. Sounds fun, right?! :)
To create my card, I started by heat embossing some flowers and leaf images on watercolor paper from the New Beginning Stamp with Golden Peach Embossing Powder. Next, came the fun part, coloring! To do this, I used my Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set and a watercolor brush and simply relax for a little bit and color the images.
Once I finished coloring my images, I took my Mod Vases Die Set, cut one of the vases onto watercolor paper and color it with my watercolors. Then, I gathered all the elements and adhered them to the background panel.
For my background panel, I cut a piece of white cardstock a bit smaller than an A2 card, 4 x 5 1/4" inches to be exact, and added ink onto the panel through the Bubble Wrap Stencil using my blending tool and Bamboo Crisp Dye Ink.
Let's take a look at the final card.
