To create my layout, I started out by opening 321646 Dog with Sweater Cut File on the Silhouette software and then ungrouped all the elements. I separated all the pieces and cut them from different color cardstocks and pattern papers. Once the machine finished doing its job, it was my turn to assemble all the pieces. To glue most of the elements, I used liquid adhesive, and for some other, like the head of the puppy, I used foam dots for more dimension. In addition, I also added an epoxy finish to some other pieces- like the eyes, nose, and dog collar- with Glossy Accents from Ranger.
Since I wanted to create some sort of scene in my page, I trimmed two pieces of paper at about 2" inches and used a scallop punch so they would look like the roof of a dog house. To add more fun to the scene, I also cut some grass and a bone from the 321644 Dogs Triplets, and put those elements under the dog I created earlier.
Next, I added my photo, title, journaling, and some extra embellishments pieces on the left side of the page. And last but not least, I adhered some epoxy hearts to complete the page.
Let's take a look at the finished layout!
