JILLIBEAN SOUP: HOW TO FUSSY CUT ELEMENTS FROM PATTERN PAPER FOR LAYOUTS

Hello, Friends! Maryám here with you today to share some ideas on how to fussy cut elements from pattern paper and then use them in a layout. Fussy Cutting is one of favorite and, I would also say, my go-to technique when I am creating any scrapbooking project. I love the idea of cutting a paper and create my own embellishments from it.

For today’s project, the paper I chose to fussy cut the paper Dash of Daydream from the new Rainbow Roux Collection. This paper is perfect for this technique since it has lots of flowers and leaves, which are really easy shapes to cut.

I positioned all the flowers in a diagonal way and put my photo in the center. Under my photo, I adhered a foam sticker that I used as the title of the page, and also added my journaling.

Here you can see some more details.

I hope this layout inspired you to start fussy cutting all of those papers, especially the ones that have super cute icons in them. Thank you for visiting us today and don’t forget to tag Jillibean Soup when sharing your projects using the fussy cutting technique.
