Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew Build-A-Flower Camellia Japonica Altenew Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from Maria Willis' Blog, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Isha Gupta. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!
This month's flower is Camellia Japonica, also known as Japanese Camellia or simply camellia. I absolutely adore this flower and the stamp set and coordinating die is great as well. And guess what?! Altenew has also put together an ink set to help you build your flowers. Awesome, right?!
Since I saw the stamp set, I had the idea on my mind to create my own background using the flowers and leaves so that's what I did. I created a panel of 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" inches where I positioned all of the elements I used to create my background. I also added some fussy cut leaves from the Misty Meadows Washi Tape and vellum leaves from the Virginia Rose 3D Die.
On the right side of my page, I added my photo as well as my title and journaling. Behind the photo, I also put some layers of different pattern papers from the Reflection 6x6 Paper Pack.
