ALTENEW MAY 2019 STENCIL RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew May 2019 Stencil Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from Vicky Papaioannou's Blog, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Marie Nicole. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to end!

Altenew is releasing six new stencils today. They are absolutely beautiful and unique. I used most of them on my projects today and I was impressed by how awesome they look once you have created something with them. Be sure to click here to see them all.

The Best Thing – Layout: For this layout, I used two stencils in two different ways. I used the Illusion Spiral Stencil with the Altenew embossing paste that I mixed with some ink to get a very light yellow color. The other stencil I used was Floral Garden, this time I just used ink and, in the end, added some pink splatters and fussy cut around the flowers and leaves to create my own die-cuts.

Hello there, sunshine – Card:  For this card, I used the Deco Wonder Stencil, and I used it as a template to paint with my watercolors. I draw each line of the stencil with a pencil and then started to fill each space with a different color of my watercolors. In the end, I added my sentiment from the Basic Blooms Stamp Set.

Thinking of You – Card: For my last card, I used the Heart Builder Stencil. I created a kind of a messy look for one and even added some black splatters in the end. I also created a shaker window in the center, put some fussy cut flowers from the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape and used a sentiment from the Geometric Landscape Stamp Set.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 5/28/2019 for a chance to win. Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Card Blog on 5/31/2019.

Thank you so much for stopping by today friends! Don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave me a comment or send me an email. I’ll be really happy to help you.
Have a wonderful day!
