Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew Build-A-Flower Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from Altenew Scrapbook Blog, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is the amazing Ashlea Cornell. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to end!
I have to say that I am a huge fan of Altenew floral stamp sets and this month's flower is Snapdragon. I absolutely love this flower and the stamp set and die set are just so much fun! And guess what?! Altenew has also put together an ink cube set to help you build your flowers. Awesome, right?!
Project 1 – You are my most precious gem Card: For this card, I used both of the snapdragon flowers from the stamp set and I used the spring bouquet mini ink cube set to stamp all the things. I also cut the silhouette of the flowers on a vellum sheet using the coordinating dies and put it behind the actual flowers. For the background, I used baby pink ink to stamp one of the layers from one of the snapdragons.
Project 2 – Just Smile Traveler’s Notebook: For this project, I went with something a little bit simpler. I used some watercolor paper from the Summer Garden Paper Pack and put it on both of my pages. Then I stamped some snapdragon flowers and did a similar technique I used on my card.
