Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew Washi Tape and Embossing Paste Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from Lydia Evans' Blog, you are in the right place! Your next stop in the hop is Vicky Papaioannou. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to end!
This new release contains 5 new amazing washi tapes and one brand new embossing paste! Make sure to click here to see in more detail all of the new products. During this post, I will show what I have created using the products mentioned before.
Project 1 – Celebrate Scrapbook Layout: For this project, I used the beautiful Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape to create a kind of a frame around my 8 ½ x 11” page. I adhered some of the washi tape on a white sheet of cardstock and then I spent a few hours fussy cutting around each shape. You can check out the process video of this page below.
Project 2 – Colorful Memories Scrapbook Layout: For this page, I used the new Embossing Paste. I used the sketched lines stencil and created a fun colorful background. I used my inks to give some color to the embossing paste. You can check the process video below.
Project 3 – Wish you the most beautiful day Card: For the background of this card I used the Teal Shadow Washi Tape. In the center, I put a little piece of vellum and over it with the help of some foam dots I put some flowers that I fussy cut from the same washi tape. For the sentiment, I chose “Wish you the most beautiful” from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set.
Project 4 – Sending hugs and happy thoughts Card: For this card, I used the embossing paste and the Leaf Burst Stencil. I applied the embossing paste on a paper from the Reflection 6x6 paper pack, fussy cut one of the flowers from the Bohemian Rhapsody Washi Tape and added my sentiment.
I have created a tutorial on how to make this card, but I had some problems while I was editing so I couldn’t finish it on time. I will upload it to my channel later today so make sure to subscribe to my channel and turn the bell on, so you know when it’s uploaded.
