ALTENEW JUNE 2019 STAND-ALONE DIE RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hello and Welcome! This is Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the June 2019 Stand-Alone Die Release Blog Hop from Altenew. If you are coming from Isha Gupta's Blog, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Emily Midgett. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!

Here are all the new stand-alone dies form the release. We have a great variety of designs starting from simple stars to a very intricate mandala design to even a 3D rose! Cool, right?! I have so much fun working with these dies and I created 4 projects that hopefully will get you inspired today.

Project 1 – Pretty Little Girl Layout: For this layout, I used the Virginia Rose 3D Die and went a little bit crazy and created lots of colorful flowers. I also worked in the background of this page adding a layer of gesso, next used the Broken Chevrons Stencil with the Altenew Embossing Paste to add even more dimension, and in the end, added some watercolors.

Project 2 – Happiness Traveler’s Notebook: For this project, I used the Delicate Mandala Die that I cut on vellum paper and the positive part of Color Wheel Die that I cut on patterned paper from the Alluring Blooms 6x6 Paper Pack. I also used one of the frames from the Nesting Labels Die behind my photo.

Project 3 – Always Stay Awesome Card: For this card, I used the Nesting Labels Die + the Dainty Blooms Cover Die. I die cut the Dainty Blooms on a rainbow paper and put all of the positive pieces on a vellum paper (took me a couple of hours though). Then I cut one of the frames from the Nesting Labels Die onto the vellum and this is how it turned out.

Project 4 – Beautiful Card: From the left-over pieces from the previous card, I created another one using the same supplies. Here is a look at the final card.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 6/24/2019 for a chance to win. Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 6/27/2019.

  19. You are so talented. The layouts are very pretty and your sister is very cute. I must say that the two cards are the best of the bunch though. Your having spent so much time putting the pieces together was well worth the effort. Beautifully done.
