Hello and Welcome! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be a part of the Altenew Build-A-Flower Fuchsia Altenew Release Blog Hop. If you are coming from the awesome Amber Rain Davis' Blog, you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Kelly Griglione. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!
This month's flower is Fuchsia. I remember that when I was little we used to have this flower in our garden and I am so happy to see that Altenew has created a stamp set and a coordinating die. And guess what?! There is more. Altenew has also put together an ink set to help you build your flowers. Awesome, right?!
For today's release, I decided to do some watercoloring. I started by stamping the flowers using the Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink, let it dry for some minutes and then used the awesome Watercolor Brush Markers to color the flowers. Once I finished the coloring part, I decided to add some shine to the page, so I pulled out the Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray and add some splatters on my previously colored flowers. I wish you guys could see how awesome this ink spray looks like in real life! It's simply beautiful.
Once I finished all that, I took all the flowers and leaves and created a traveler's notebook spread with them. I also used the Dare to Dream Stamp Set to create some "tiles" in coordinating colors and added them to the background.
For the title, I used the Mini Hello Stamp Set which happens to be the perfect size to use in my traveler's notebook.
