Altenew: A Year In Review Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello, crafty friends! I’m Maryám and I'm so excited to be joining the Altenew: A Year in Review Blog Hop. If you are coming from Linda Westfall you are in the right place! :) Your next stop in the hop is Michelle Short. If you get lost, you can always go back to the Altenew Card Blog or check out the entire blog hop list at the end of this post. There is also a fun giveaway, so be sure to read all the way to the end!

This blog hop is a little bit different than usual because we are not releasing new products, instead, we are sharing our favorite Altenew projects from 2021. I have always been a huge fan of Altenew! Their diversity, elegance, and awesome innovative products are my favorite and always keep me inspired to create something new. This year, in particular, I focused more on creating cards rather than scrapbook layouts and I totally enjoyed it. Now, let's take a look at my favorite projects!

First Project- "Sending Hugs & You" Cards
Will take a long way back for these two cards as I created them back in February this year for the Love & Friendship Stamp & Die Release. First card features one of my favorite stamp sets from this year: Queen Anemone Stamp Set, and second card features another lovely stamp set: Our Friendship Blooms Stamp Set. Both cards share the same color palette: Martian Terrain Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set, Green Fields Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set, Summer Afternoon Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set.

Second Project- "Thank You" Card
One of my favorite products from this year was without a doubt the Craft-A-Flower series. I absolutely enjoyed playing with these sets. This card was made using Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Layering Die Set. To make it more interesting, I paired it with another basic but amazing product, Simple Frame 3D Embossing Folder. Just in case you are wondering, two of my other favorite Craft-A-Flower sets from this year were: Cosmos and Peruvian Lily.

Third Project- "Imagine the Possibilities" Card
Another favorite of mine this year, was the absolutely amazing layering stencils. Altenew really went deep in this category and released a bunch of new sets. This card, features Hill Blossoms Layering Stencil Set. It's quite a simple and easy-to-use stencil but the result is just amazing. The ink colors I used on this card were: Sweet Dreams Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set, and Green Valley Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set.

Fourth Project- "Celebrate & Miss You" Cards
And last but certainly not least, we have two more cards I created using layering stencils. The stencils I used were: Mandala Builder Stencil Set, and Meadow Bush Layering Stencil Set. Once again, super easy and fun to put together. First card features Sweet Dreams Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set, and Green Valley Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set. And second card with more of a "vintage" vibe features, Cherry Blossom Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set, and Nature's Wonders Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set.
