Hey Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new project created using awesome Jillibean Soup products.
For this layout, I used a cut file called What A Wonderful World that is going to be linked at the end of the post. I modified the cut file and only used the earth globe without the sentiment. I chose two papers to use with this cut file and also added hand stitching around the entire border of the globe.
Okay, now let’s talk about the photo of the layout. I used a selfie I took a few months ago while we were doing some trekking in the volcano. I think the photo turned out quite good, so here are some tips for you to take great selfies. First of all, always try to find the best light spot, but be careful with direct sunlight because it can create some weird shadows in the photo. Second, smile, and last be you. After you have your photo you can edit and change the brightness, contrast, etc. and it’s ready to be used.
Here are some close-up shots of my layout.
To embellish the page, I used the Pea Pod Parts from the Rainbow Roux Collection as well some fussy cut flowers. I also heat embossed some butterflies on vellum paper and added some enamel dots.
Thank you for visiting the JBS blog today! I hope this layout has inspired you to create something new.
Have a lovely day!
